Makeweekend!

Overview

Makeweekend aims to inspire youths to take charge of solving everyday/social problems. Through the use of science and technology, as well as facilitation by the Makeweekend team, youths from different backgrounds are able to ideate and create solutions. Makeweekend Workshops teach youths how to ideate through an intense one-day training on design thinking. The workshops teach the necessary steps it takes to empower youths to get creative with their ideas. Makeweekend Makeathons are two-day programmes that merge knowledge and enthusiasm of ideating with the ability to create. By presenting themes and problem areas to solve, youths are given the opportunity to prototype their solutions.
